This 1940s-1950s black vanity case features a top handle with a brass locking clasp and an accompanying key in its original paper envelope. With its brass colored and metal fittings on the sides of the case, this item appears to be unused. The case is lined with a watermarked taffeta and has a plastic covering on the base, as well as two elasticated pockets and four elasticated bottle holders on the lid, possibly for holding a mirror. Despite the missing mirror, this case is in excellent condition with only a few minor marks on the outside, expected from its age. It makes for a perfect travel companion and is made from real luxenhide in England. Measurements include a width of 12 inches, depth of 4 inches, and height of 9 inches.
